    Ivan Synetar is a Ukrainian public leader and infrastructure expert with over 20 years of experience in regional development, cross-border cooperation, and international economic relations. He currently focuses on mobilizing international resources, coordinating reconstruction strategies, and strengthening cooperation with global partners.

    Mr. Synetar has extensive hands-on experience in infrastructure development, investment project implementation, and socio-economic transformation at both regional and national levels. His professional background spans public administration, business leadership, civil society, and humanitarian coordination, including projects related to road construction, restoration of historical heritage, settlement of internally displaced persons, and rehabilitation of social infrastructure in cooperation with international organizations.

     

He is a Member of the Zakarpattia Regional Council (8th convocation, 2020–2025) and Head of the NGO Initiative for the Future, actively contributing to regional policy-making, economic diplomacy, and cross-border initiatives. Previously, he served as Adviser to the Mayor of Uzhhorod and Adviser to the Head of the Zakarpattia Regional Council, specializing in infrastructure, urban development, and international economic cooperation.

Mr. Synetar holds a Master’s Degree in International Economic Relations and is currently a PhD candidate at Uzhhorod National University. He also has a technical background with a Specialist Degree in High-Tech Physics, which supports his analytical and systems-oriented approach to development projects.

His professional achievements have been recognized with numerous national and institutional awards, including the commendations from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the Knight of the Homeland Order for his contribution to national development.

Mr. Synetar is known for his strategic leadership, strong project management skills, and ability to translate complex development strategies into tangible results, particularly in the context of Ukraine’s reconstruction and international cooperation.
